Our journey into Japanese milk bread started with an intriguing challenge. The traditional tangzhong paste, crucial for its unique bind and texture, proved a fascinating process. My first attempt? An undercooked loaf! But that only fueled my determination. I rushed home, gathered ingredients, and perfected the recipe. Since then, store-bought bread is a thing of the past. Even my son, who rarely enjoys bread, loves our Japanese milk bread. This confidence propelled me to share my true niche, knowing the time and care invested is truly worth it.
